  • Supplier profile information including capabilities, certifications and company data.
  • Communications between users and Open Foundry.

  • Documents and files uploaded to the Services, including RFQs, drawings and specifications.

  • To process subscriptions, invoices and payments.
  • To facilitate supplier matching, RFQs and communications.
  • To improve, develop and secure the Services.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

6.Sharing Your Information

  • With buyers and suppliers where necessary to provide the Services.
  • With service providers including Stripe, Vercel, Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI, Resend, Microsoft 365 and Vercel Analytics.
  • With regulators, courts and law enforcement where required by law.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.

7.International Transfers

Some of our service providers process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

8.Data Retention

  • Account information is generally retained for the duration of the account and up to six years thereafter.
  • Billing and accounting records are generally retained for six years.
  • Support enquiries are generally retained for three years.
  • Marketing preferences are retained until withdrawn.
  • RFQs, drawings and uploaded documents are generally retained for as long as the account remains active and may be retained thereafter where reasonably necessary for legal, operational, backup or dispute resolution purposes.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, although no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10.Your Rights

  • You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability.
  • You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

13.Supplier Profiles and AI Processing

  • Open Foundry may create supplier profiles using publicly available information, third-party sources and information supplied by suppliers.
  • Open Foundry may use artificial intelligence technologies and third-party AI service providers to analyse information uploaded to the Services in order to provide functionality such as requirement extraction, supplier matching and profile generation.
  • Open Foundry does not currently make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

14.Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended solely for business users and are not directed to children.
